If you are planning your wedding, you are in one of the most exciting, yet stressful times of your life. Today’s weddings are major events that require planning, organization, and attention to detail. The planning process should be fun and exciting, but many brides become over-whelmed because they either don’t have the time to devote or they simply need someone to help them navigate the endless choices and decisions. This is where Georgia Grace Weddings steps in. We have been referred to as a “Bride’s Best Friend”, but we are also there to help everyone in your family. Many times one person is taking on too many responsibilities, and ultimately that person is not going to relax and enjoy your wedding. More than anything, the Bride and her family need to be able to let go and take in every second of the wedding day and not worry about details like if the cake showed up or if someone put out the guest book! Let us be the point person for you, so that you, your mom, and everyone else can focus on the love, joy, and party you have planned! A wedding coordinator is not a luxury; it truly is an essential part of a stress-free, organized wedding!
From Sweet Tea to Seersucker Suits, to a good game of corn hole while tailgating before a Georgia Bulldog game...
I love all things Southern! And if you ask me, there is no better wedding than a beautiful southern wedding, full of love and fun! After almost 10 years of coordinating weddings, I still can’t get enough. I eat, sleep, and breathe weddings (just ask my husband who is subjected to countless episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, bridal magazines all over the house, and lots of talk of my new Pinterest finds)! Speaking of my family, they are the reason I smile even when times are hard, the reason I believe in myself, and the reason I followed my dream of starting my own business and created Georgia Grace Weddings. My husband, Jason, is a nurse here in Athens, and we have been blessed with two amazing children. Speaking of family...As cheesy as this sounds, once you are my bride you are family. You are trusting me to help make sure every detail you have painstakingly planned is executed. I take this task very seriously, and I will not stop until you aren’t just happy, but blissfully, over-whemingly, thrilled beyond belief. Weddings are my passion, and I will consider it an honor to be chosen to help plan the happiest day of your life.
My name is Heather Hanley and like Mary Ellen, I was born and raised in a Southern culture of sweet tea on front porches, Go Dawgs! greetings, delicious food, and an emphasis on family. These characteristics from my upbringing are a huge motivation as to why I am so enthusiastic about my job as a wedding coordinator. I love sharing in your excitement of your future family, the planning of every detail, and watching your wedding blossom into a spectacular, breath-taking day shared by your family and friends. I like to think my job is a way for you to enjoy every moment of your day by being in every moment. I want you to enjoy every part of the process, without the stress and worry that can come with planning a wedding. I consider it a privilege and honor to be asked to make sure every detail of your planning comes together to create the vision you want. I cannot wait to help your day truly be the happiest day of your life!
